Nathalie Camidebach was born in the South-West of France and grew up between the ocean and mountains. Teenager, she moved to Paris to study Dramatic Arts. Soon afterwards, she felt compelled to go behind the camera and joined the prestigious Directing Program at « La Sorbonne University ». Upon her graduation, she wrote and directed her first short film « And If We Would Live Together » which was nominated for the « Clap D’Or » at The International Sens Film Festival . With dreams of Hollywood in her heart and a few scripts tucked beneath her arm, Nathalie flew to Los Angeles where she soon found herself taking meeting after meeting while studying photography. For the next few years, she traveled back and forth between LA and Paris, self-publishing her first novel « Fallen From The Nest ». She successfully promoted her novel all over France, earning promising reviews and interviews. In Los Angeles, she directs « Remember The Eyes » with actress, writer, producer Marie Roux, her childhood friend. The film was selected in numerous film festivals and made its world Premiere at the SFC at the 60th Cannes Film Festival. Nathalie Camidebach’s film opened the prestigious film festival of «St Jean De Luz International Film Festival for Young Directors ». Others film festivals include San Francisco International LGBT Film Festival Frameline 32, Philadelphia LGBT Film Festival ect… After the success of Remember The Eyes she once again team up with Marie Roux to direct another short INNOCENCE REMAINS, based on a true story and shot with the Red One camera. The film premiered at the Miami LGBT International Film Festival and most recently The Artivist Film Festival at the Egyptian Theatre. The film is having a successful festival journey, being selected all over the world. Nathalie flew back to France to work with Francois Ozon on his latest film « Le Refuge » starring Isabelle Carre. She also worked as an Assistant director on Philomene Esposito film « Et la religion dans tout ca ». At the present time she is helping producing the feature film « De toutes mes forces » starring French actor celebrity Vincent Lindon while preparing her first feature film with Marie Roux « I Leave Here ».
Nathalie Camidebach est née dans le sud-ouest de la France où elle passe son enfance et son adolescence entre mer et montagne. À vingt ans, elle décide de partir à Paris pour y suivre des cours d’Art Dramatique et réalise un premier court-métrage "Et si l'on vivait ensemble..." aprés une formation de réalisatrice à l'Université La Sorbonne. Ce court-métrage lui vaut d'être nominnée pour le Clap d'Or au Festival de Sens. Nathalie écrit aussi quelques court-métrages ainsi que deux longs. Puis elle s’envole pour Los Angeles où elle découvre la photographie et écrit son premier roman. De retour en France elle décide de s’autoéditer... et nous livre “Tombé du nid.” en 2003... Faisant la France entière de salons du livre en salons du livre "Tombé du nid" rencontre un certain public... Puis Nathalie décide d'aller s'installer sur l'île de Saint Martin à la recherche d'une nouvelle inspiration... Sur cette magnifique île elle y travaille en tant que photographe et fait des expositions photos. Après plus d'une année elle décide de repartir à Los Angeles pour y tourner son deuxième court-métrage "Remember The Eyes" avec Marie Roux son amie de toujours... Aujourd’hui elle partage toujours sa vie entre la photographie, l’écriture et ses projets de film... entourée bien sûr des gens qu'elle aime... et comme elle le dit si bien... “It’s a wonderful life”...
